The 11th edition (RQM11), will leave again from Rabat, after 22 years of existence, with a year delay due to the pandemic.

The RQM11 is intended as a meeting of confrontation and exchange between the various specialists of the Quaternary on recent data on Man, pre and protohistoric material cultures as well as the environment in which they evolved.

In addition, the RQM11 will be an opportunity to know the contribution of new technologies in all areas of research on the Quaternary. The choice of the theme "The Quaternary in the Maghreb: Pre and protohistoric societies and paleo-environmental evolution" will also focus on issues related to the impact of climatic fluctuations on the evolution of human societies and their environments.
